About Midwest Athletic

Midwest Athletic Lacrosse was created out of a desire to showcase the talent from the Midwest on a national level.  Various club directors from across five different programs (Lou Fusz, KCLC, Black Lax, Indy United, and Second City) united together to create grad year specific teams to compete in a select number of national recruiting events per year.

Midwest Athletic represents some the best high school lacrosse players from St. Louis, Kansas City, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Illinois. Each club program that participates in Midwest Athletic selects a certain number of players for each team, those players are then invited to join either our 2025, 2026, 2027, or 2028 Midwest Athletic Teams to compete in a national tournament in the Summer of 2024. In the future, we plan to have a tryout process that our club players will be invited to participate in so that all the Directors and Coaches involved can select the top players.

The Midwest region consistently produces All-American talented athletes who sometimes don't get the national exposure they deserve. We are excited to provide an opportunity for our most competitive members to play with other top players from the Midwest region. Our hope is that every player will gain more national exposure while also developing their game alongside elite competition and with high level coaching.
